Fat burner Weight Loss in Dubai

Nutrition Tips for Weight Loss in Dubai

Obesity rates in Dubai are said to be at twice the world level, a truly alarming trend. It is understandable that perhaps the weather in Dubai (always extremely hot) might not encourage much physical activity of any kind but there are other ways to ensure that people stay healthy and fit. Modern science has revealed that nutrition is an extremely powerful tool for helping people to stay in shape.

Bad eating habits are among the causes of Dubai’s obesity problem and studies have shown that a lot of staple foods in Dubai such as fried bread are not nutritionally ideal for weight loss. Also, the fast food culture has become very popular in Dubai with Americas fast food giants and local companies battling it out for market share. The result is almost literally, burgers everywhere.

If you live in Duabi and are having a hard time with weight loss for these or other similiar reasons, here are some nutrition tips that you can use to stay in shape.

Fast Food is a No No

I’m sure you’ve heard this tons of times so we’re just going to state it briefly and get it out of the way: fast food is a serious no no. Period.

Eat More Lean Meats or Fish

Meat is obviously a very large part of the diet in Dubai and it is good for building muscle and burning fat. However, the way the meat is prepared will have a large impact on its nutritional quality and value. You should avoid fried meat or meat that has been cooked with a lot of oil. Also, you should specifically eat more lean meat such as chicken breasts or steak. Fish is also a good highly nutritious protein source as opposed to lamb which is popular in Dubai but has a high saturated fat content.

Fruits

Instead of snacking at McDonalds or Burger King for example, consider eating fruits instead. Fruits contain many nutrients that are good for your body and have some great benefits for people trying to lose weight. In particular, fruits such as watermelon, with a high water content keep you feeling satiated without flooding your system with the fats and oils that fat food is composed of.

Fruit Juice Instead Soda

Everyone seems to drink copious amounts of soda in Dubai (same as most places in the world really) and this is particularly bad. The types of sugar found in soda cause the build up of visceral fat—the really dangerous type of fat that builds up out of sight around the abdominal organs. Visceral fat could cause many different types of complications with your health and you really do not want to continue stacking it up can after can.

Instead of soda, make a habit of drinking fruit juice, which has all the great benefits of eating fruits, or simply drinking lots of water.

Eat slower

A lot of people do not know that the speed at which you eat may have a big role to play in how much weight you gain. When the body needs energy it sends cues to the brain which responds by triggering the feeling of hunger at which point (presumably) you get something to eat. When you have had enough to eat, the brain responds by triggering the feeling of being full. The thing about this process though, is that the brain can be a bit of a slow communicator and if you eat too fast, you probably would end up eating a little more than you need to. Each time this happens the stomach expands a little bit to take in more food which means your brain would take even longer to communicate the “full” sensation. As the cycle continues, you would be eating more and more and gaining more and more weight.

Conclusion

Weight loss in Dubai could be challenging but you can eat your way to a slimmer, fitter body if you follow these tips.
