As shocking as it may sound, our diet also plays a part when we are trying to make babies, eating healthy foods are good and also helps to boost your fertility levels and decrease inflammation in your body. Here are 7 healthy foods that can help with the baby making process.

Beans –

The mechanism behind this is that increased insulin levels can disrupt reproductive hormones. A dutch study found out that when women had high levels of blood sugar, they were only half likely to get pregnant during the study period.

this is a mono-saturated fat, that helps to increase insulin sensitivity and also helps to decrease inflammation throughout the body. Inflammation usually interferes with ovulation, conception and early development of the embryo.

Wild salmon –

this is a cold water fish that is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which may regulate reproductive hormones and increase blood flow to the reproductive organs. Salmon also contains low levels of mercury compared to other fatty fishes.
