#1. One Step at a Time
Starting is the hardest part when working toward getting into your best shape, and when you’ve begun, maintaining the momentum is harder. Focus on taking baby steps first; by baby steps of course, I mean walking. Early mornings are the best times to go out for a walk. Start by walking for about 30 to 35 minutes every morning.
#2. Focus On Your Diet
Getting yourself in the right state when planning on starting a diet plan can make diet sound less daunting than it usually is. Having a source of motivation can help one in achieving their diet goals. Be it losing weight or bulking up muscles, starting a plan that is more likely to continue as a habit is more likely to be viable.
Get a diet plan that works for you; not one that has worked for a friend. As you know, we are all cut from different cloths and while your friend’s diet is a hard one but worked for them, the one that works for you could be a lot less hard.
#3. Get a work-out Partner

#4. Find a work-out you love
For some, this could be swimming, for others it could be running 3 miles every morning; to you it can be 5 sets of 20 push-ups. Whatever it is you love doing with your body during exercise, do it well and the results will duly follow.
#5. Drink Lots of Water
Hydrating is very important. Get as much water in your system as you can. The body is comprised of 80% water and this is essential for proper digestion, nutrient absorption and chemical reactions in the body. Water also helps remove toxins from your body and helps the body burn more fat.

Using your phone to keep count of calories you’ve burned per day or miles you’ve run per hour helps motivate you to do more and to keep at it. #7. Rest that Body
Resting will help you regain your energy and feel rejuvenated enough each day; your body will be both mentally and physically productive when you rest it and get some hours of sleep in each day. Remember: exercise is great, but you can’t exercise a tired body!
