4 Toning Exercises To Tighten Underarm Skin

Tightening underarm skin is usually done after a significant weight loss to remove the excess skin left, or in cases where an individual has a dangling flabby underarms. Loose skin under the arms will always be visible so it should be let off as soon as possible, to aid fitness and avoid frustrating and embarrassing moments. To do chair lift, begin by sitting on a chair or a bench, with both hands resting on your sides. Stretch out your feet until your bottom is no longer on the chair, and your arms are holding you up. Then, bend your elbows, in an attempt to move down, and then up to lift yourself. You can also do it by stretching out your legs, with toes raised. As easy as this seem, it works effectively on the underarm.

2. Modified push-ups

`This kind of push-up focuses on the knees. Go down on both knees, with palms faced down, while you look towards the floor. Keep back straight at all times, and push up with your arms until they are fully extended. Then, lower your body, slowly, until it is almost in a close contact with the floor. Do this repeatedly. Generally, push up helps to tone muscles of the chest and arms and helps greatly in making the underarm skin fit.

3. Triceps extension

The triceps extension helps to tighten flabby and saggy underarm skin, and to do it, you’ll need a light-weighed dumbbell.

Lie on a bench, with a dumbbell in your right hand. Then, extend your right arm with your elbow over your head. Hold the elbow at 90 degrees and remain in this position for some seconds, after which you can return back to the original position and repeat the process.

4. Triceps stretch


The triceps stretch also helps to get rid of underarm skin flabs and keep the upper arms fit. To do this, stand with feet shoulder-width apart. Hold the dumbbell in your right hand and bend your right arm at the elbow, towards your back. With your right arm behind you, bring the dumbbell towards your left shoulder and pull down with your left hand.

Interestingly, it can also be done without the use of a dumbbell. Move your right arm towards the back and bend it at the elbow. Then, walk your right arm towards the midline of your back or your left shoulder. Then, place your left hand horizontally, such that it rests on your right elbow.
